After our breakfast, we proceed to the nearby Jigokudani to experience "Hell on Living World". At the entrance of the toilet, they have the red and blue guards (not sure of the naming yet). It is similar to Chinese Hell Guards.

Look at the smoke in the air, it is invisible in front. And the place smells of sulfur... I only managed to walk halfway into the valley, since we are rushing for time. My Dear refused to walk further in. Haha, cuz it is really... very smellllllyyyyyy!

Although it is still in the afternoon, we are going for a drink! Asahi is one of a famous beer in Japan. They showed us a short clip about Asahi in a mini theater. After the short clip, we are invited to have a glass of Asahi beer in their canteen. They have also provided small snacks, such as rice cracker, cheese sausages to go with the beer.

Nijo Market

There is some people in our group wish to purchase some dried scallops, hence our tour guide took us to the Nijo Market to grab some scallops deal. Nijo Market is three blocks south of the TV Tower at Odori Park.

This is our first Shrine visit in our Japan trip. Before one could enter the Shrine, one has to cleanse oneself. There is a water spot where everyone will goes there to cleanse. Take a scoop of clean water and wash the left hand. Take another scoop to clean the right hand. Then take another scoop of water and pour onto the left hand which is previously cleansed. Rinse the mouth using the clean water and spill them out. Finally pour the remaining water to clean the scoop. To clean the hand in winter time is really cold! Ice water you know!

Miyanomori (宫之森)

Our lunch is Teppayaki time!!! We have to remove our coat so that it will not get stained and stink. We have a set of pork slices and some vegetables. They also provide Kobe Beef costing about 8000 Yen. We didn't order since we do not eat beef.

Finally we have reached the Shiroi Koibito Park where the famous 白色恋人 is made.

At the park, decoration for Christmas has started, so only partial of the park is completed. There is an apple tree (a real one) and if you tried to reach for the apple, the alarm will ring. Look at the cute police bear that came out when we tried to approach the apple.

Inside the building, there is a cup museum where different cups from all over the world in different century are gathered. Imagine that you are drinking a cup of chocolate from a gold cup!

We had a cup of warm chocolate at their cafe. There is a nice scenery from the cafe view. I believe when night fall, and all the lightning is up, it will be very romantic.

狸小路

Finally our last stop before going back to our hotel will be shopping time again! We have about 45 minutes to shop around. Our tour guide bring us to his recommended shop to grab all the 白色恋人 and others. After that, we move along the 狸小路6 and 狸小路7.
